2010 Capital Fringe Festival Selection
Terre Haute
by Edmund White
Inspired by the Vanity Fair essay Gore Vidal wrote about his correspondence with Timothy McVeigh.
This drama imagines a series of death row encounters between an acclaimed novelist and a domestic
terrorist. One has a story to write, the other a story to tell.
A flirtatious connection evolves when these diverse men discover a common belief that the
American Government is trampling freedoms enshrined in the Constitution.
